Mist: The Ultimate Testing Tool for Mist Location Services
Mist is an Android application developed by Mist Systems, designed to provide an indoor blue dot experience by integrating the Mist SDK which scans BLE signals broadcasted by Mist's 16 vBLE antenna array in the Access Point. This app is an internal testing tool for Mist location services, helping you troubleshoot location-related issues and ensuring accuracy.
With Mist, you can easily locate the user's device and provide proximity-related notifications using Mist's patented vBeacon technology. The app renders the floor-map and blue-dot, which is the X, Y position of the user device on the map. You can also use the show beacons feature to quickly verify the placement of virtual beacons on the map.
Mist Systems App supports other features such as testing the zone and vBeacon notifications, enabling DR, voice-over, remote logging, browser alerts, user co-ordinates, and more. The application runs on the Mist SDK, Mist Access Point, and Mist Systems Cloud Portal.
